CYT is busy selling tickets for our bumper raffle with a total prize pool worth $2854.40!
All proceeds support CYT's creation and promotion of theatre with young people.

Tickets are $3 each or 2 for $5.
Tickets can be purchased from your tutor or from the office.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle

Thankyou to everyone who turned out to make our sausage sizzle on Sunday the 16th of August a sizzling success. A HUGE thankyou to Kristil Mobbs for all of her hard organisational work, and thankyou to our fabulous volunteers: Bernie, Mike, Jodhi, Ben, Lea, Paul, Sandra, Catherine, Gill, Cathy, Sarah, and Alison. everybody’s hard work and support paid off as we raised over $1000.

 

CYT Script Nominated for Premier’s Literary Award

In 2008 Canberra Youth Theatre commissioned and held the premier performance of a new Australian work The Messenger by Ross Mueller adapted from Markus Zusak’s award winning novel. CYT is excited to announce that The Messenger has been nominated for the Queensland Premier’s Literary Award, Drama Script (Stage), alongside works by Lally Katz, Tony McNamara, Damien Millar and Paul Galloway.
