CYT Teen Ensemble 2010 [Ages 15-18]
Ensemble and Special Projects
In Semester 1 participants will explore the essentials of acting. Develop skills in voice, movement, characterisation, improvisation, and physical theatre.
In Semester 2 you will be actively engaged in the development and performance of CYT’s major production, RETRIEVAL, a hybrid art installation performance at the National Library of Australia.
Ages: 15-18 years
Tutor: Joe Woodward and CYT Artistic Director
Where: C Block Theatre, Gorman House Arts Centre, Braddon
When: Thursdays 4:30-6:30pm and Sundays 10am-5pm (13 June, 25 July, 22 August, 19 September, 24 October)
Tech and Dress Rehearsals: 11-14 November (times TBC)
Performances: 19-21 November, 26-28 November, 3-5 December
Cost: $600*/year ($300/semester) plus CYT membership *10% discount available for full year upfront payment
