Holiday Workshops - Spring [Ages 7-12]
Create. Act. Play. Perform. Canberra Youth Theatre runs fun drama workshops during school holidays for young people aged 7-12. The workshops actively engage the imaginations of the participants as they play games, create characters and tell stories. There is a short performance at the end of the week for family and friends.
Make it UP! [Ages 7-9]
A shooting star has landed in your backyard. As you reach out your hand to touch it, it zips you away to a magical land far, far away where everything is not as it seems. Leave your passport behind, but pack your imagination as you join us in creating a whole new world. This workshop will conclude with a short performance for family & friends.
Shazam! [Ages 10-12]
The Genie and Magical Mythical Creatures Society is in chaos. Wishes aren’t being granted, lamps are in short supply, and selfish people are sucking their magic dry. Join your fellow magical beings to restore peace throughout the land, recharge the magic reserves, and teach the people some manners! This workshop will conclude with a short performance for family & friends.
