To say that July was a successful month at CYT, is an understatement!

With the excitement of The Verbatim Project still ebbing around the office, we are thrilled by the support we have received from our CYT community as well as the general public. This beautiful production was a sell-out and we could not have done this without the help of our incredible members, the GOLDs, parents, families and friends. From our cast to the crew as well as all the of parents who made the trip to the Ralph Wilson Theatre every day for the past three weeks. Thank you to everyone!

We are already onto the next production and the final one for the year. Antigone – The Greek Project will be performed by the CYT Company Ensemble. Our talented cast have been working throughout the year and are excited to present this reimagining of the classic greek text.

Semester Two Workshops are now underway and we are happy to welcome our old and new members to the Gorman Arts Centre, Tuggeranong Arts Centre and Primary School Workshops. Our tutors have created some incredible programs and we can’t wait to see what our young artists come up with. An early reminder that Family Week is not too far away (commencing the week of Monday 19 September) and is a fantastic opportunity to see what your young artist have achieved in their classes.

CYT is proudly supported by its members and without their constant support, we would not be able to provide a voice for young people. CYT is always looking to find ways to fundraise and we have some exciting events and ideas coming up in the very near future.
