Wickfield Street is just your average, everyday cul-de-sac in new suburbia. That is, until it transforms each festive season into an electrical wonderland, for the National Safe City Christmas Lights Competition. The residents of Wickfield Street have won the grand prize five years in a row and they’re not about to let their title go, not for anything or anyone.
So when a strange new family arrives in the cul-de-sac and starts falling out of line, the locals are forced to educate them on the way things are done in Wonderland.
A disturbingly funny new work commissioned by Canberra Youth Theatre.
